GOSPEL ADVANCING IN ONE YEAR
Each month is setup to give 3-4 weeks of teaching with a big event (an outreach focused, celebration service, etc…) on the last Wednesday of the month.
SCHOOL YEAR FOCUSED:
Since we’re focusing on students and circle of influence “Advancing the Gospel in One Year” will revolve around the school year. It starts in September and ends in August and focuses on you teaching your students how to:
SUMMER MONTHS:
During the summer months you will options of different video curriculum to choose from. This will give you a bit of time to slow down, regroup, meet with leaders, etc… while still providing a quality teaching experience for your students.
7 VALUES IMPLEMENTED:
Each month will also focus on a Gospel Advancing Ministry value, along with giving helpful insights on how to implement it the value. For example: Value 4 is “Discipleship strategy guides it.” This month you will be giving challenges like, “Take the number of students in your youth group multiple by 10%. Find that number of “leader type” students and start adding them into the more spiritual part of your service (praying before/at the end of service, praying before/after worship, leading a devotional, giving their testimony, etc…” Then at the big event/celebration service you can celebrate those students on what they've done. This will create positive peer pressure and encourage others to want to get involved.”

- pray for their friends with passion
- pursue their friends with conversation
- persuade (gently nudge) their friends on the importance of putting their trust in Christ
